The correct temperature and humidity to grow edible mushrooms.

Temperature and humidity to grow mushrooms:

The amount of data that one is required to remember in order to become even mildly competent in mycology can seem overwhelming at first. It is often spoken of esoterically and is difficult to locate on your search queries. The fog of misunderstanding dissipates proportionally to the amount that your curious mind looks for answers. On that note, welcome my friends.

FYI: Fungi are categorized depending on the temperatures at which they thrive.

Psychrotolerent mushrooms thrive between -5 degree C and 28 degree C.

20 degree C is optimum for Psychrotolerant basidiospores.

Psychrophilic mushrooms thrive between 0 degree C and 20 degree C.

15 degree C is optimum for Psychrophilic basidiospores.

Thermotolerant mushrooms thrive between 4 degree C and 60 degree C.

38 degree C is optimum for Thermotolerent basidiospores.

Psychrophilic mushrooms thrive between 0 degree C and 20 degree C.

38 degree C is optimum for Thermotolerent basidiospores.

Thermophilic mushrooms thrive between 20 degree C and 60 degree C.

45 degree C is optimum for Thermophilic basidiospores.

Mesophilic mushrooms thrive between 4 degree C and 40 degree C.

25 degree C is optimum for Thermophilic basidiospores.

When it comes to most edible mushrooms we are interested in Mesophilic Basidiomycetes with (edible) fruiting bodies. Basidiomycetes are fungi whose spores develop in basidia (little sacs). Basidiomycetes include the majority of familiar mushrooms and toadstools. A basidiospore is a reproductive spore produced by a Basidiomycete fungi. This group includes mushrooms, shelf fungi, rusts, and smuts. Typically basidiospores each contain one haploid nucleus due to the process of meiosis. The fruiting bodies are the mushrooms themselves. We are interested in edible fruiting bodies that produce spores.

With all of that said. Here is a chart to answer the question:
